America's Cup Cineflex

Red Line Films and Read Earth Studio where making a feature documentary for Larry Ellison following his Oracle team as they competed and eventually won the America's Cup in Valencia Spain.

I had two rolls in this production, I worked as a DIT prepping and organising footage from 2 x Sony F800 1 x EX3, 2 x Cinelfex cameras with HD cam SR decs, XD Cam dec. And several small onboard cameras.

Also testing the prototype CineDec in tough conditions.

And I also had the pleasure of assisting the director by going with the the second Cineflex unit to shoot from helicopter and speedboats with the experienced Film Aerials co-ordinator William Richards.

This footage is a combination of some early Cineflex footage shot from both teams, edited by first unit Director Adam Docker

Camera's used:
Sony F800 with HJ11, HJ22, HJ40, Pro35 and various prime lenses and Schwem lens
Cineflex camera rigged up on a boat
a second Cineflex camera mounted on a Squirrel helicopter.
